Philadelphia, PA – The dancing went on all weekend at St. George’s Greek Orthodox Cathedral Festival. Parishioners and attendees joined hands and danced in the parking lot as others looked on. Greek music and the aroma of homemade Greek food mingled, creating a perfect weekend for this 40 year old festival.

The Greek festival years later is the only Greek festival that is hosted in Olde city. It brings together a variety of people from throughout the community and is known for it’s friendly and warm atmosphere. With a wide range of languages, ages and ethnicities, the annual event seems more like an international social gathering based on sharing Hellenism.
