Cherry Hill, NJ – Greek Independence day celebrations continued this week at St. Thomas Greek Orthodox church. The K through 8th Greek school program featured a theatre performance about the Greek revolution of 1821. Students reenacted scenes depicting life in Greece during the revolution.
The event was hosted at the Danielle Kousoulis Center on Saturday afternoon. Parents huddled together on their knees and snapped up the moments, as children sang and recited poems about the historic revolution.
