White Tents and Windmills covered the grounds of St. Sophia Greek Orthodox church in Valley Forge Pennsylvania this past weekend. The theme continues to be the island of Mykonos. An outdoor taverna with local Greeks and sailboats colored in blue and white added to the scene making you feel like you were thousands of miles away.
The 5 day festival on Trooper rd. was the first one, now with it’s new church standing tall overseeing its parishioners. Smiling and proud, the parishioners welcomed local neighbors, friends and visitors to their festival which was highlighted by a tour that ran round the clock, throughout the weekend.
