The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey, in partnership with the Interdisciplinary Center for Hellenic Studies, is planning a Dedication Celebration for the opening of the Constantelos Hellenic Collection and Reading Room on Friday, Sept. 26, 2014.
The Reading Room will house 3,000 rare and important works from Professor Constantelos’ personal collection and research materials, a donation of one of the finest private libraries in New Jersey on the Ancient, Medieval, and Modern Greek eras.
It will provide reading, study and seminar space for the Interdisciplinary Center for Hellenic Studies (ICHS) students, professors and the community, and will act as the statewide repository for the New Jersey Greek-American Oral History Project.
