Upper Darby, PA – It took 7 games into the season for PAS Giannina to claim their first victory. But it made the win extra special. Last night Pas Giannina took home a victory over the Kings, proving again, any Thursday night it can happen. Dimitris Evangelopoulos of PAS Giannina believed it and made it happen along with his teammates by leading all scores. His 20 points helped PAS Giannina beat the Kings in game three.

The highlight game featured Danny’s Boys and the Sixers. This battle saw the first half dominated by the Boys who ran a very balanced and controlled offense. The Sixers fought back coming within a bucket late in the game, before falling to the Boys who capitalized on a series of late fast breaks. Pete Kathopoulos led all scores with 29 points for Danny’s Boys.

The Wolfpack dismantled team Hellas in the evenings opener. Unable to jell a sufficient offensive attack, and with the Wolfpack running on all cylinders, this game left you feeling that the Pack will be serious contenders during the playoffs. George Vlahos led all scores with 32 points. Wherever he’s needed on the court, Vlahos manages to make the best of it.
