Anastasi at Evangelismos (Bustleton Ave)

Approximately 250 parishioner members of northeast Philadelphia’s Greek community on Bustleton Ave. attended the Anastasi service at Evangelismos Greek Orthodox church.

Rev. Father Prokopios Nikas, Protopresbyter sang in both Greek and English, singing “Xristos Anesti” (Christ has risen”). Father Prokopios Nikas, concluded the outdoor portion of his service, yelling out “God Bless “America” and God Bless Greece”.
