Upper Darby, PA – The highlight game didn’t disappoint. Underdog team Hellas proved why they are a team that comes to play. They work hard every week and it shows. Last night they earned their second victory.
The Revolution and the Kings banged it out in a high scoring offensive game. But the Kings, who haven’t lost since opening day, proved again why they are ranked number one with their 9th straight victory. Final score: Kings, 88 Revolution 71.
Team Hellas did it again. They took home their second victory in a tough fought match against the Sixers. Playing shorthanded for much of the first half, the boys from Greece showed a lot of pride and heart and brought it home again. Final Score: Hellas 47, Sixers 39.
Danny’s Boys and the Mavericks kept it close in the final game. A lot of sloppy play left you wonder if the holiday break was too long after watching this one. The Mavs, still winless, almost pulled an upset, but the Boys held on to take home the victory and hold on to a tie position for the league lead with the Kings at 9 and 1. Final score: Danny’s Boys 43, Mavericks, 37.
