Good food, good tsipouro and parea were all part of the evening fun at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox church. The Society of Epirotes of Philadelphia “Omonia” hosted their annual dinner-dance for the 9th year in a row last Saturday, February 16, 2015.
Lazaros Paraskevas and his orchestra did it again, bringing in the music and sounds of the clarino from Epirus, Greece. Traditional patsas was also served along with dinner, making this evening memorable. Throughout the night, the tsipouro flowed both on the dance floor and at the tables.
