Trenton, NJ – The Orthros of the Lamentations at the Tomb with the procession of the Epitaphios took place at St. George Greek Orthodox Church last night. They were hosted presided over his Eminence, Metropolitan Evangelos of New Jersey. The Epitafios was carried around the church sometime after 9 pm.

The parishioners, choir, and various leaders participated. A crucifixion of Christ led the way. Upon circling the church, parish the church members of the Greek Orthodox community continued with the tradition. The tomb was raised outside the doors of the church for parishioners to walk under it, into the church.
