The Hellenic Medical Society of Philadelphia reports with great sadness the death of Dr. Chris Tzarnas, beloved husband of HMS Board Member Dr. Ellie Kelepouris. Dr. Tzarnas was Emeritus Professor and chief of Plastic Surgery at Temple University and president of the Philadelphia Chapter of the American College of Surgeons.

His funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 15, 2015, 12:00 noon, at St. Luke Greek Orthodox Church, 35 N. Malin Rd in Broomall, PA. Viewing one hour prior to service in the church. Interment, West Laurel Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Philadelphia Academy of Surgery to support The Dr. Chris D. Tzarnas Lectureship, P.O. Box 17314 Philadelphia, PA 19105-1731.
