Dr. Elias A Iliadis, MD, FACC, FSCAI, RPVI, the popular Cardiologist associated with Cooper University Health Care, was the featured speaker at the Saturday, March 26, 2022, Luncheon of the St. Thomas Senior Citizens, held at the Danielle Kousoulis Memorial Center in Cherry Hill, NJ.
Dr. Iliades discussed the latest medical findings and opinions on the issues of exercise, proper nutrition, and avoidance of smoking on several ailments, such as heart disease, diabetes, and cholesterol. It was greatly appreciated by the 50+ attendees, who enjoyed the age-appropriate presentation.
The luncheon was prepared by the president of the St. Thomas Senior Citizens, Jerry Hanos, and by the co-chefs Dimitris Alexandropoulos, Louis Manousos, and Dimitris Poulopoulos. The parish priest, V. Rev. Avgoustinos Psomas, gave the invocation and added humor to the festivities with some charming anecdotes.
