Cinnaminson, NJ – The fourth annual Metropolitan Evangelos Ambassador Awards banquet took place this past Sunday. The event was sponsored by the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America at The Merion, where some 600 attendees came together.
The annual event honored and recognized members of the Eastern Orthodox community and featured two choral performances; The Goya Choir of St. George, Media, Pennsylvania and the GOYA Choir of Holy Trinity, Egg Harbor, New Jersey.
Master of ceremonies, Dr. Tom Papademetriou introduced several speakers from the community following the National Anthems of both Greece and the United States. The event also highlighted his Eminence, Metropolitan Evangelos on the ten-year anniversary of his Enthronement, as the spiritual leader of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of New Jersey.
