Upper Darby, PA – Streamers flew in the air as the New Year was announced at St. Demetrios Church. More than 500 people attended the big dance that featured musicians from Philadelphia to Greece.
It was the 27 annual New Year’s Eve dance hosted at St. Demetrios. Throughout the evening families and friends danced to a variety of music, which included: Atlantis of Philadelphia, Kostas Poutakis on Lyra, George Manouidakis on Clarina and Sideris Andrianos singing Demotika.
