September 21, 2012. Philadelphia, PA – Evangelismos Greek School on Bustleton Ave. kicked off the fall Greek school year this past week. Recently transferred from Atlantic City’s St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox church, Father Alexandros (now of Evangelismos) began the day with a church full of parents and teachers and students. After a speech to parents about preserving their language a traditional Agiasmos took place.
From 48 students to more than 60, this Greek school also has grown in size. Classes for these students is hosted just down the road at a Russian Church facility that the Greek school utilizes for their k-6 grade school.
