The Pontian Society Akritai of Philadelphia (Upper Darby) will host their 73rd annual dance at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Upper Darby. This year promises to be even bigger and better than last year with the addition of Atlantis of Philadelphia playing popular Greek music. In addition, New York Lyra player Christos Tiktapanidis will be part of the program. The main attraction will be “GIANNHS GAVRIHLIDHS” of Kilkis. Recognized as one of the great senior Pontian voices of his generation, Gavrihlidis will surely fill the hall. Great food, great music and of course a full weekend of coverage from Cosmos Philly will all be part of the weekend.
