Media, PA – The St. George Greek Orthodox community hosted a vaccine clinic yesterday at the church hall. “We were able to register 225 people”, said Sakis Arsenlis, parish council member. The clinic opened at 10:00 am and continued through the afternoon till 3:00 pm. St. George partnered with Crozer Health systems, who have made a presence around the region, and most recently at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Upper Darby.

The two-part Pfizer shot was distributed to anyone registered and was given to all those who will return on May 19th, 2021, at the church hall again. St. George is the third consecutive Greek Orthodox church in southeastern Pennsylvania to host a vaccine clinic.
