August 31st, 2012. Yesterday, 5,614 volunteer dancers partcipants set a Guinness world record for the largest Sirtaki Dance ever on a beach in Volos, Greece. This video captures the moment. The largest syrtaki dance was previously achieved by 1,672 participants in an event organised by Brand Fuel, on the island of Rhodes, on September 3, 2008. The people of Volos more than tripled it.
