Izmir, Turkey – His film, Hello Anatolia, garnered accreditation from screenings at Harvard University, Yale University, The American College of Athens, and his own alma mater, Syracuse University. Hello Anatolia is a personal journey of identity. Stamelos completes the his own Greek Odyssey by returning to his family’s ancestral home in Izmir (Smyrna), Turkey. After five and half years of living in Izmir he has completed the film, Hello Anatolia, started a family and now is preparing to release his second project. Greek-American filmmaker and producer, Chrysovalantis Stamelos, discusses his life these past years, the film, and what the future holds for him.
