Philadelphia, PA – The Greek National Soccer team is coming to Philadelphia for a pre World Cup tune up game vs. Nigeria. On June 3rd at 7:00 pm, at PPL Park (Chester, PA), just minutes away from center city Philadelphia, the two teams will match up. We’ve never had a sports event of this magnitude in our community, and this promises to be a memorable, historic moment.
Thousands of Greek soccer fans will descend upon PPL Park wearing the colors of Greece and cheering on our country. On that evening, all eyes will be focused on Philadelphia and the Greek national teams path to Brazil. The Greek American Heritage Society of Philadelphia has secured premium seating next to the team bench, where they’ll be able to cheer our team on as one. An entire section, 380 seats has been secured for all those who wish to be part of this momentous occasion.
