Cherry Hill, NJ – OXI Day celebration are going on all over the world today. Greece and Diaspora communities are commemorating the historic day with parades and lectures.

St. Thomas Greek school hosted its event to celebrate Oxi Day. Parents and family members attended the annual event, which saw students from K through 6th-grade program recite songs and poems in regards to the historic day.

The one hundred and fifty one students also put on a theatrical performance about German soldiers who had invaded a small Greek village. The performance featured life during in the village during the occupation.
