Cherry Hill, NJ – After more than a generation in the clergy, the spiritual leader of St. Thomas Greek Orthodox church is retiring. On Sunday following church services, Father Emmanuel Pratsinakis was treated to a farewell party by his congregation.
Hundreds of members of the parish and the Greek-American community turned out for the emotional send-off. A plaque was presented to Father Pratsinakis by his parishioners, followed by a photo opportunity. Hugs, kisses, and tears were shared by many who attended.
Father Pratsinakis served the St. Thomas Greek Orthodox community from August 1st of 1986 and his last official day is July 31, 2015. Cosmos Philly wishes him well in his retirement and his future endeavors.
