Upper Darby, PA – The annual Philadelphia Federation of Hellenic American Societies (of Philadelphia and the Greater Delaware Valley)Christmas party was held this past Tuesday evening. The annual meeting attracted more than 30 members of the organization. On the agenda, Phillip Nikolaidis (President of St. Demetrios church) Federation board member was honored for his years of service with a plaque.
Also on the agenda, the announcement of a fund established by the metropolitan of New Jersey for the victims of hurricane Sandy.
Mark your calendars – January 12, 2013. Atlantis will be performing with special guest singers Diamandi Dionysiou (youngest son of Stratos) and Katerina Topazi at the Federation of Hellenic American Societies of Philadelphia’s Dance to benefit Greek-American families who lost everything from Hurricane Sandy.
