The thirteenth annual Tsipourovrathia is going to be a lucky night. The Society of Epirotes of Philadelphia “Omonia” will celebrate this tradition again at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Upper Darby, on Saturday, March 2, 2019.
The entire Greek community from around the Delaware Valley will enjoy an evening of traditional Epirotiko music by the Lazaros Paraskevas Orchestra. Tsipouro, everyone’s favorite elixir, will be served throughout the evening. Traditional Patsa will also make a showing and be served late at night following the banquet style dinner. A portion of the proceeds from this event will be donated to charity.
